Book - Sunrise A Chronology of a Wyoming Mine

The author, R.W. MacCannon was employed by the Colorado Fuel & Iron Corporation in 1954 as a junior mining engineer and retired as general superintendent of mining operations in 1986 after the closure of the mining department.  The narrative covers the geology of the area starting some half billion years ago with prehistoric man. The mine history covers the time for the first mining that took place prior to the acquisition of the property by the CF&I  company in 1899 and the subsequent operations.
